RESTful interfaces with Django

There are a number of Django libraries available for implementing RESTful interfaces.

I didn’t use any particularly scientific way to determine which one to use except a Google search and a bit of reading around. From what I read, it sounds as though django-tastypie is the simplest to work with, and provides the most configurable way of extending the API, allowing it to be bent the way you need it. So we’ll start with that approach. If it’s not right we’ll change it out later.

There’s a pretty good tutorial over at the main site, so if you get stuck go and take a look there.
